Patrick Sanders is our graphic artist in residence for the Immersive Experience project and our WiKi. His talents as a real-time illustrator will help us visualise our thoughts in interesting ways and enrich our learning process. Patrick is an arts worker based in Belfast. His training was in Devised Theatre, and his work in the field of drama includes as a performer, director and workshop facilitator. He is also member of Playback Belfast, using improvised drama and music to re-tell personal stories. As an illustrator he specialises in using cartoons to document events and processes. This year he was involved in Outburst, Ireland's first multi-disciplinary queer arts festival. 



Anna Newell is the Artistic Director of the Centre for Excellence in the Creative and Performing Arts (NI) - an interdisciplinary
arts programme at Queen's University Belfast. Anna has an interest in adventure making in performing arts. Prior to this she
was a freelance theatre director working for 16 years with an eclectic range of professional and community companies of all
shapes and sizes, creating performances and projects with professional actors, dancers, women's groups, prisoners, young adults
with learning difficulties, students and primary school children amongst others. Anna will be helping to create some of the
sensations of immersion through her playful encouragements.

Sadly Kai will not be joining us because of illness
Kai Jansen is a talented musician, singer/song writer/poet and he is helping SCEPTrE explore the fuzy concept of learning for a complex world through the eyes of a musician and musical experiences. Kai has generously accepted the challenge of trying to create a song about the meaning of immersive experience which he will develop during the conference and perform as the closing symbolic act of the conference.
